Wulf n ed tament State of Michigan County of Lenawee Town of Sand Creek We, the scatterbrained class of nineteen hundred and forty nine of Sand Creek High School being in a state of un sound elation Cwhich will end when we receive blank diplomas? do hereby make and proclaim our last will and testament le,having assed through Kgathering sprinkles of knowl edge on the way this stage of our education, wish to dis pose of our assets rights and privileges Cwhich we begged, borrowed and stoles in the following way ARTICLE I Section l To the faculty we leave our gratitude for untiring guidance of our little 'flames of hope' in the right direction, also our sympathy for their lonesomeness for the shining examples we have undoubtedly been ARTICLE II ability to act dignified in the most embarrassing s1tuatia1s such as a fallen stage during the Senior Play Section 2 To the bright and shining Sophomores we leave our luck, if there is any left, after we skip school for the last time without being caught Section 5 To the Freshmen we leave the undying hope which we found necessary to attain the untouchable status of a Senior We also leave them our cunning manner which we used to chew gum in class, pass notes in Study Hall, eat whenever hunger struck us, and find out more about the teach- ers than they thought we could ARTICLE III Section l To the Board of Education we leave our appreciation for making our unhappy years in school possible Section 2 To the student body as a whole we leave the Siren to be published, Athletic honors to be achieved, the resou ding joy we feel upon hearing the toll of the nine o'clock bell each school day'and, last but not least,the com plete exaltation we feel as the bell rings at 3 45, dimmis sing us fr m a joyous day Any other Will or Testament made by us is declared void upon the publication of this, our last one In witness whereof we, the Senior Class, do set our quill and berry juice to this Will on this historic twenty sixth day of May, nineteen hundred and forty nine SEN OR CLASS I A xjv.
