F. A. chapter was not as active as usual this year, largely due to the war-time restrictions on gasoline and tires, however, a joint meeting and initiation was held with the Onsted Chapter, and a trip to the Cessor farm near Ann Arbor was taken by the two chapters. It is also planned to have a party before school is dismissed for summer vacation. lr. Storrs was our advisor for the second year. Dale Pelham and Jerry Burch were elected as delegates to Michigan State College at East Lansing for the State F. F. A. Convention in the spring. HARVESTER. The Home Economics Club held its first meeting September 29, 1943 we elected officers and made plans for the coming year. Among the things we have accomplished this year are: Weiner roast, new freshmen members were invited Halloween party, masquerade, all high invited. Phyllis Valentine Secretary ..................... Bettie Sager The Club sang a few songs at the Community Fair, October 22nd. Now we are preparing for a concert to be held the lst Friday in March. We held a meeting and decided to charge admission to the concert and to buy choir robes with the money.
