Those helping this start were returning lettermen Bill Smartt, Bob Marelli, Don Ham, and John Taylor, Mr, George Lester, coach of the squad said the turn out for this season is the largest he has seen, The squad played what is known as a round robin in the newly formed Marin County Athletic League. The round robin consists of two nine hole matches with the same school. This makes up eighteen holes played with each school on different days of the schedule. The golf team plays its home games at the Marin Golf and Country Club.
