Ross: Principal's Message 6 g y virtue of your student status in 1988, each of you played an important part in commemorating an exciting com- munity event - the dedication of San Pasqual High Schooi's stadium. This dreamy facility became a reality because people of vision demonstrated the skills, enthusiasm, zeal and tenacity to mobilize a total school community to recognize the need for such a facility and to provide the sources to meet that need. But in a far greater sense, this project is more than a physical facility for the sport and games. This facility makes a bold statement by the trustees of the Escondido Union High School District and the leaders of the stadium committee concerning the importance of student participation in extra- class activities to contribute to the total develop- ment of human potential. This new facility makes a bold statement by the many contributors to this project concerning community assistance in pro- viding forthe needs of the local school community. It is hoped that this venture between students, school district and concerned parents and commu- nity members will serve as a model for action in the future - perhaps some day for your childrenli' Patrick V.
