They represented and made sure that the Sophomore class had what it takes to make their year successful. Having a large empha- sis on their pride for Homecoming and other school events, these class officers proved to have great leadership quali- ties. An excellent example of their school participation was their presenta- tion in the class planter arrangements, especially when they did the Junior's, since they never showed up, They also have good thoughts as they're eager to run for office again in years to come. During the summer, Eric went back east and to New York, played football, and put together the Sophomore Homecoming float. Derek went surfing, played tennis, and played soccer with a traveling team. Cyclist Races For The Gold hat is what Sean Jacobs is shoot- ing for. I-le is already on his way. When his dad bought him a bike, he became interested in it. That was four years ago, and since then, he has been in a lot of races. ln 1986, Sean received a Sth place in the National Ommium meet for the Senior Division. Also, in 87', he won a 7th in the Nation- al Pursuit, which is a track race. His goals in the future are making the .lu- nior World's Team. Then, traveling to Colorado Springs to the training camp there. Hopefully, he will be in the 92' Olympics to race for the gold. Sean Jacobs hopes to go for the gold in '92,
