-I Pep Rallies s the students gathered into the gym, the music started. They searched for their friends up in the stands, and their friends yelled down to them, reserving their spots. When the speaker appeared, everyone was seated, and didn't know what to expect. Pep rallies were held every time San Pasqual had a home football game. Students also cheered for the other teams that were playing after school and the weekend. These teams were usually football, field hockey, tennis, water polo, volleyball, cross country, and track. During the pep rallies, class competition is practiced, sen- iors, juniors, sophomores, and freshmen all compete in various, ridiculous games. The classes show their self pride and school pride through the montonous screeming of 'Go, Fight, Win', etc. To entertain the au- dience of students to an even greater ex- tent, the cheerleaders, band, and dancing team performed death-defying tasks.
