Ci: ' ' an Pasqual was an amazing school in that it had total par- ticipation in sporting events. Fall sports such as Cross Country, Field Hockey, Football, Tennis, Vol- leyball, and Water Polo were all at- tended by sport-goers and proud par- ents, and not to mention the photog- raphers getting the C.l.F. action shots. ln fact, those teams who fought their way to the C.l.F. were Cross Country, Field Hockey, Football, Tennis, and Volleyball, all of which are pictured on the action-cracked line-up. Those who attended the Foot- ball C.I.F. game in the famous Jack Murphy Stadium, where the SUPER- BOWL XXII was held, saw a tough battle against the San Marcos Knights. Neither team won nor lostg it was a tie in which we shared the fame. 9-an-s l - . 3, W, M, W f 1 'ew .sei 'res if gk 'fl QQX W tsiiswx -K K 1 N K at in ft N ,gg s - ' F ' if . .5 NWN 'NN as as iw, 'H '..- ..,4ai'5ef J- wx' a.wss..amf..-ss A. A 5?- n the San Pasqual Winter Sport Sched- ule were the sports boy's Basketball, girl's Basketball, boy's Soccer, girl's Soccer, and Wrestling. Of these sports, the C.I.F. finalists were boy's Basketball, girl's Bas- ketball, girl's Soccer, and Wrestling. There was a lot of participation in these sports and the crowds in the stands were mainly from San Pas- qual. Girl's Soccer played against University City in the Torey Pines Stadium while girl's Basketball played against Fallbrook in the Sports Arena. There was so much participation, in fact, since the game was on a Friday, so many students wanted to get off campus to see the game, they were ready to call a 'Senior Ditch Day'. Instead the event resolved in a note and bus ride affair, but the teams proved to be All- Star Champions. B . San Pasqual's Nicole Rothey snags the ball from San Marcos. .
