BOTTOM ROW: Mark he golf team this year was full of great talent and successful players. With the coaching of Coach Merrill and his advice the team did really well. Great players like Mike Hoerr, Andy Reno, Greg Knipstein, and Marcus Weimers were the players that helped the team go all the way. The team practiced long hours every day at Circle R. With those long hours of practice came the outcome of great play. The team had alot of talent to choose from, and Mr. Merrill was definitely happy with that. The team faced alot of tough oppo- nents but with great playing of Mike Hoerr and Andy Reno the team experienced suc- cess and victory. A. Andy Reno showing us his great form. B. -I J. . Steps In To Victor he last year's J.V. Softball team was a great group of girls. The team had a great deal of enthusiasm and skill. The teams most challenging games were against their rivals, the Cougars, and the San Marcos Knights. This team will be a great prospect for our next seasons varsity team. Ci: ' ' an Pasqual was an amazing school in that it had total par- ticipation in sporting events. Fall sports such as Cross Country, Field Hockey, Football, Tennis, Vol- leyball, and Water Polo were all at- tended by sport-goers and proud par- ents, and not to mention the photog- raphers getting the C.l.F. action shots. ln fact, those teams who fought their way to the C.l.F. were Cross Country, Field Hockey, Football, Tennis, and Volleyball, all of which are pictured on the action-cracked line-up. Those who attended the Foot- ball C.I.F. game in the famous Jack Murphy Stadium, where the SUPER- BOWL XXII was held, saw a tough battle against the San Marcos Knights.
