n ar ity Shoots With Skill irls Varsity Basketball played their way through the season like a powerhouse! Star players ' and lE6TE'Rotfi!5lled the team on their trek to the CIF play-offs. Despite a difficult schedule, the girls came away with an outstanding 23-2 record. Coaches Lori Becker and Brad Merrill were instrumental in helping their team strive for the top position. With the use of a good strategy and an emphasis on skillwork, the team was able to give strong, solid performances. - Star Track Strikes Again l l l l l l 152 oach was proud of the determination and skill each of his boys displayed. The team went into the season with high energy and anticipation. They had their minds set that nothing was going to stop them from obtaining their goal. The Varsity team was overflowing with out- standing veterans. Among them were: 1 , , ' i, ' Jeff Lange, i1'!FV2iPR1, Ri- chie Fonseca, Tim Morgan, and Erik En- right. All displayed fantastic abilities in track and field. In the Junior Varsityf Freshman teams, Brian Banners, ml ' 5 , and Duncan Engel were the stars. And with Coach Wester giv- ing the boys his undivided attention and the team working as one to get to the top, it's no wonder that our San Pasqual Fighting Ea- gles of this year were the best.
