n ar ity Shoots With Skill irls Varsity Basketball played their way through the season like a powerhouse! Star players ' and lE6TE'Rotfi!5lled the team on their trek to the CIF play-offs. Despite a difficult schedule, the girls came away with an outstanding 23-2 record. Coaches Lori Becker and Brad Merrill were instrumental in helping their team strive for the top position. With the use of a good strategy and an emphasis on skillwork, the team was able to give strong, solid performances. With Ron How- ard and Roger Combe coaching them, nothing was going to stop them. Both coaches gave their all to the team along with the team members. Two of the standouts were iillll an y. They worked hard along with the rest of the team to perfect their passing and shooting. It made them strong enough to conquer almost anything. The strong points of the team included their dribbling and inside and outside shooting. It was a great year for the Junior Varsity Bas- ketball. It showed the other teams in the League who is boss!
