J. .: Very Promi ing Team here were some incredible individual efforts throughout the year during the J.V. Basketball season, but incredibly enough, each and every player deserved cred- it. Each player got a chance to be in the Lime light to make his own contribution to the team for which each had worked so hard to become a member. A new twist to this year's endeavor's occured when the J .V. Ea- gles hosted their own J.V. League Tourna- ment in which they placed second. The Tour- nament included an overtime victory for the J .V. Eagles against Orange Glen. This year's new J .V. coach, Todd Sheppard, states that, Almost every game this year came down to the last few minutes of play. The team this year was as closely knit as any, and as a result they continued to improve throughout the season. A. Chris Lotterer trys to shoot a basket over his oppo- nent. B. John Koser gets two points for that basket. C. Bryan Banner stretches high for the advantage. J.V. It would certainly in- clude the Boy's Frosh Basketball team. The Freshman Eagles were prev- alent among the other league teams, with a 9-3 record at the season's close. Highlights of the season were the three games played against the across-town rival, Escondido, where the Eagles won all three.
