Though not large in size, they were outstanding performers in both song and dance. They were invited to perform at Unisys, North County Fair, Target, and the list goes on. With the patient help of the advisor, Mr. lnscoe. the group put on a Christmas Concert to show off their hard and dedicated work. Solos were often given to those of extreme talent such as seniors Dena Prcstininzi and Eric Sevy. At the end of the school year Vocal Ensemble left everyone with the best performance yet at the annual Pops Concert. Vocal Ensemble: Front Row: ' .Jeanne Goodson, Angel Melendcz. Mr. lnscoe, the choir director, spent a lot of time teaching the importance of technique and skill. Less time was used by performing and more time used on improving their talents. When they did perform, they performed at North County Fair, San Pasqual High School, and the Christmas Concert, A quote from Mr. lnscoe is You'rc only as good as your last performancef' and the choir proved that to us at the Annual Pops Con- cert. Most of these singers plan to reach bigger and better horizons, and audition for Vocal Ensemble. Chorus: Top Row tLtoRj: Julie Goldsmthg Tina Vaught: Chris Fow: Nanc Cof, and Renae Lofton. The clubs activities include making spirit ribbons for the football games, painting graphics in the halls at school, and designing special logo's for various school groups. Sometimes, if you are lucky, you can see the artists' work on display on the west side of the multi-media center. One of their goals last year was to silkscreen shirts and they ac- complished that goal this year. Some future goals are to design more graphics for the halls, and maybe even the new stadium.
