.V, Cheerleaders- This Year's .I.V. showed their spirit and school pride well. The eight member J.V. squad, led by captain J ' f e , cheered our .l.V, football team and all our other J.V. teams, to many a victory. Along with the Varsity Cheerleaders, a few of the J.V. members were fortunate enough to at- tend the CIF finals at Jack Murphy Sta- dium. The athletic trainers are a selected grou of p students who attended several first-aid classes and worksho ps. The trainers had members at every game in case of an accident, injur- ies, minor problems, and just making sure there was water around for 0 ur thirsty players. The trainers switch of shifts of bein i g n the training room after school from four to six hours a night. The athletic trainers are without a doubt a dedicated and mature group of students advised by Del Griffi rs- What would our athl t Tl. Under the leadership of Mrs. Nelda De Vroeg, the Pep Club staff fCommisioner-Jenise Jonesg and Treasurer- Dayena Vargal and the remaining members brain- stormed the ideas. During basketball season they traveled to home and away games alike. During the weekly meetings they worked hard on thinking of new and lively cheers and chants.
