Amid soaring spirit and lots of pep, we were entertained by air bands, class competitions, team participation, flags, dance team, rousing cheers, and band. FLOATS BECOME F IRYTALES With another school year came another Homecoming! Spirit soared this year not only on campus, but in float competition as well. The theme this year was Fairytales and Nursery Rhymes as each of the classes produced their favorite. A tradition started last year rang true again this one, the Juniors captured first placeg the Seniors came in second, Freshmen, third, and Sopho- mores, fourth. Goes to show, spirit can be found in SPHS students! -. A. The Seniors version of The Old Lady in the Shoe . B. The Sophomores captured a scene from The Three Little Pigs . C.The Juniors give us their impression of Cinderella . D- Russel Sarazen shows us his spirit by working hard on the Senior float. E. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs showed the Freshman's spirit. Special features included Steve West, a DJ from 91X for the Masquerade Dance, silver, blue, and gold balloons and decorations for homecoming and the Senior Prom was as unique and special as ever! The dances let us meet new people and enjoy the latest hits as well as videos! It was one activity that let the Eagles rock the nest! SPHS still has the hottest dances around! p B D A.
