Organlzatlons ASSOC13t6d Student Bod San Pasqual's A.S.B. helped to plan school activities this year. Among them was the Hal- loween Dance with DJ Steve West from the 91X radio station who gave out free albums for the best costumes. The Winter Dance was highlighted when a live band, Cat Trax played. The A.S.B. came to the rescue on the closed campus situation by bringing in foods from local fast foods restaurants - Godfa- ther's Pizza and Del Taco, for example. Music was played every three days or so to listen to and a poll was taken to find out what kind of music most students liked. A huge profit making success was their idea of selling Pepsi and other drinks at lunch from a fountain booth. Advisor Mr. Schirmer and volunteer helper Mrs. Marcos planned for a hypnotist during a pep rally held during the semester finals week. The students who stuck around were amazed at the stunts, which ranged from telling people they were strippers and cartoon characters to making a girl stiff as a board, and then standing on her body laid across two chairs ASB: Top Row QL to RJ: Mr. Schirmer Andrea Lien' Damien Macaluso' Jeff Posner' Tom Dabasinskas' Grant Gin gerichg Brent Howardg Brian Rundlett and Darby Barrettg Middle Row CL to RJ: Lora Wendellg Tim Lockieg Greg Winters' Chris Portis' Laura Alexander Cristie Blaylockg Jeff Smithg Amy Lo velandg Amy Thompsong Russell Sara zeng Stephanie Hill, and Mrs. Marcus Bottom Row QL to RJ: Laurie McCallis terg Nicole Commeliag Julie McArthur Yearbook The book you're reading is the finished product of a year of hard work and dedication on the part of the yearbook staff Members hustled to write, photo, type, do layouts, inter view, and gather information In the end, all, including advi sor Mrs. Knight, agreed the hard work paid off Yearbook Top Row: QL to RJ: Tina Ash erg Jolie Thompsong Jennifer Hone Brian Rundlett' Michelle Wiebe' Anna Alcala and David Sobel. Pep Club One club that really had it's ups and downs was the new Pep Club. Organizer Mrs. DeVroeg got it off the ground, and the officers led crusades to ball- games, with painted cars, signs, cheers, and our school colors flying high. Members wore club tops, and, although only a few sports were honored by their presence, spirit made a come- back. Ski Club Because the school wou1dn't in- sure this sport, the Ski Club is an extension of the Boy Scout Explorers. Skiing is an expen- sive but exciting sport. Mem- bers took a trip to Utah over Christmas and to Mammoth over Easter vacations. It was about S400 each, not including equipment, meals, or details, but all agreed it was worth it.
