i f Faucher's Art Decorates Downtown Jn October 26, 1985, April Faucher won second :lace for the comical themei' in a window lecorating contest at JC Penny's. The picture if famous Halloween favorites, combined with mer talent, earned her 25 dollars and a luncheon my the sponsoring Rotary Club. Faucher en- oyed beginning ceramics as a freshman but Jressing required classes ended that all too soon. However, this past year she's been busy lesigning spirit ribbons, sketching for friends, :reating a comic strip called James Cat: O07M 'or the school paper, and making use of the :chool's supplies to pursue her hobby. Faucher vas the Vice President of the Craft Guild which she's been in for two years. She'd like to become in art teacher for junior high levels or possibly expand in other areas. Be watching for April ?aucher's work in the years to come.
