Under the guidance of Carole Strahan, president, and Nliss I larriet l lardv, Girls' Counselor, the first event was the New Girls' Party. Next on the agenda was Sea Shell Swirl, the annual Girls' League Dance. Career llav aid- ed nieinlmers of the student hodv in choosing a vocation, xvhile May Day xvas one of the lllilsf successful ever held. The sophomore, junior, and senior class teas were handled luv class representa- tives, and the annual Girls' League picnic, held at Arroyo Seco, provided fun and food for every- UNC.
