Mr. WILLIAMS, at ' present concerns himself with the duties of Assistant Navigator and is Chief Candidate for the position of San Marcos Cheer Leader. LT ij gl Rodney E. EYSTER, USN, is the Ship's Operations Officer and Navigator - a 1950 graduate of the Naval Academy, the brain saw previous service aboard destroyers before reporting aboard in April. Rod is a Pennsylvania Dutchman from York, Pa. Ensign Charles A. DYE, USNR, Assistant Operations Officer and Communications Offi- cer is an Ivy League man from Old Corne1l -Postman Dye Qyep he's also the mail officerj comes from East Aurora, New York fwherever that isj and has the distinction of being BULL Ensign. Ensign John T. CANANE, USNR, is a down East Yankee from Watertown, Mass. Bos- ton Blackie does duty as Assistant communications Officer, Certification Officer and Assistant Training Officer.
