Not on- Ml ly did he juggle band and football, but also ASB and jazz band. On Fridays during football season, Jeff didn't march with the other tubaiplayersg he went to the locker room with the varsity football team. The kids worked really hard, said Les Samenow, their advisor. Jazz Band performed at half-time basketball games. Neither group, though, entered any competitions. For the past two years, SMHS has been without a Jazz Band, because of lack of interest. This year however, there seemed to be renewed interest in the group.
