Their coach, Tammy Parker, enjoyed the sport in high school, and appreciated the chance to continue working in the field. Ken was the first male captain of Tall Flags. We had a young, diverse team that was very talented. They were led by Alma Evans and Cindy Gomez, to a strong beginn- ing, by taking third place in the Arroyo High School competition against 17 other teams. We had great leadership this year, said Ms. Mikeiatos. Alma was very skilled and determined, and Cindy is talented and conscientious.
