We had a young, diverse team that was very talented. They were led by Alma Evans and Cindy Gomez, to a strong beginn- ing, by taking third place in the Arroyo High School competition against 17 other teams. We had great leadership this year, said Ms. Mikeiatos. Alma was very skilled and determined, and Cindy is talented and conscientious.
