KATHRYN CARSON SECRETARY wr K m DEAR STUDENTS: The clock has ticked away another year in San Marcos High School, and as the hours pushed each other around the clock we rolled in high gear most of the time. In sports, in social activities, and in literary pursuits we have won our part of the laurels At times we have been rocked but each time we have rol1ed back. The class of 1956, largest in the history of the school, has added to the reputation and to the tra- ditions of the purple and white, and this school annual will be a cherished record of friendships formed and accomplishments remembered.
