In 1937 you became principal of our school and have served well in that capacity for eighteen years. You took tinxe off to serve in the armed forces when your c ountry needed you, and you have always been devoted to your community' and its progress. Staunch friends you have in the thousands who have had an oppor- tunity to know you in this school. You have won the loyalty of the faculty each year and the friendship of your fellow rnan.
