Beresford In Control The 1980 varsity volleyball team started the season with a 3-1 win over Loyola. They were picked as co-favorites with Dos Pueblos to take the Channel League title. Though they started off slowly, each match was a learning experience. By the end ofthe season they could han- dle almost any opponent. With the experi- ence they have gained, several ofthe players will become valuable to the next year's varsity team. 1. Flob Vail serves the ball with great talent. 2.
