An Era Ends An era and a season ended on Novem- ber l6th. lt wasthe big game with Santa Barbara. When the final gun sounded, it not only signaled the end of the game and the regular season, but it also symbolized the end of something bigger. Looming larger was the fact that, after twenty years of coaching for Head Coach Sut Puailoa, the gun had signaled the end of his last league game. As a sign of their feeling for Puailoa, the students dedicated the half-time showin his honor. The flower filled farewell included a standing oyation from the thousands of Royals' fans in the stadium. VARSITY FOOTBALL 17
