S M Cade ts Participate Before football games it is traditional to salute the flag. This year the new San Marcos memorial offered ROTC a unigue opportunity for flag raising detail before each home game. ROTC performed the saber guard tor the Homecoming Cere- mony. and they took part in the Labour Day and Memorial Day parades. The drill team competed with Santa Barbara. as did the football team in their yearly game. Dn Friday December 21 . the annual review and inspection was held. and the whole student body was invited to attend. Somewhat similar to this was their field day which was held later in the year. They also sponsored a rifle team this year. The finale came when they went to training camp where they learned about such things as M-60 machine guns. ROTC l25
