A gradual increase in nutritional snacks was well received, as were new San Marcos and Royal stickers, jerseys, and caps. The class ring sales were far above last year's Knmsduetobeheromanuahonand more extensive advertising. The student body profited greatly from the club because all profits went into ASB funds. MV- Bowman. i 3 Members Enthusiastic MECI-IA, which stands for the Movement ot the Chi cano Students ot Historic Atzlan, was formed tor the benefit and mutual interests ofthe American Chicano students. The club, which proved to be popular this year, participated in various activities throughout the term. These activities included selling pastries during the Homecoming Carnival and participating in Ducky Don Week. ln recent years, the club gave scholarship and hoped to continue doing so.
