Getting Up . . - Setting up . . . lt took a lot of hard work and dedica- tion to be in the orchestra this year. This was a typical comment which could be heard from an orchestra member, It was true of course, getting up to go to rehearsals before most people even con- sidered the idea of getting out of bed, then playing Christmas songs months before December, made it really hard to become involved with playing an instru- ment, but the orchestra did itl Showing- off their musical talents at French night and the Christmas concert made it all worth while. ln the words of advisor Mrs. Luke, The stage crew accepted the challenge of a heavy shedule, low budget, and no janitor with minimal discontent. We are elevating slave labor to an art. COME ON AND HAVE SOME FUN WITH IT! These are only a few of the comments that might have been heard coming from an Orchesis rehearsal this year. Orchesis is the club for stu- dents who are interested in the art of dance. This year's members high- lighted the annual French night with their complicated dancing in a French can-can. Not only did they have an interest in dance themselves, they also spread it to the rest of the school by holding dance workshops during lunch for any student who wanted to come.
