Middle School Visits Y-0 Ranch With the beginning of fall, SMA finds its Middle School boys going to the hills of Kerrville to the Y.O. Ranch for a weekend of fun and excitement. While the Middle School boys are at the Y.O. Ranch, they do many different things, horseback riding, repeling and climbing, swimming, and a survival course. But most important, they get to know each other and themselves better. Sponsor lim Davis says, I really enjoy getting away from the Academy with the boys, We become closer and they in return feel like they can talk to me better even after we come back to School. 1. 1.The boys learn important lessons on the environmental situation, not only in America, but all over the world. 2.Robert Graham learns the skill of repeling, as he goes off the edge of a 30 foot cliff at Bear Creek. if -,

Rains Fail to Dampen Homecoming Spirit Hard rains and severe thunderstroms refuse to dampen the Bear's homecoming spirit as exes return for the traditional weekend. Weekend activities feature a Homecoming Dance, special banquets and meetings, reunions, dedication ceremonies for Davidson Hall and the annual football game. 1. Representing the sophomore class are Missy McLain and David Albright. 2. Senior Sharon Flahive is named Homecoming Queen during halftime ceremonies. Sharon's escort is Marc Cheechin. 3.
