uture Farmers Of America The main purpose of the Future Farmers of America is to train young people that are interested in the improvement of agriculture and rural living. Our local unit has op- erated under an extensive program oi work this year, and their varied projects, both for community and personal benetits, have met with success. ln return for student body and community support of such projects as the Barn Dance and the Christ- mas Tree sale, our Future Farmers have maintained high standards of character and work for the benefit ot the school and the general public. The participation in parliamen- tary procedures contests, judging exercises, and public speaking trials helps to prepare each mem- ber tor a more dynamic role in American agriculture. U9 Q1 -M-J t1 y Teachers of Tomorrow as Students One of the most active organizations on our campus this year was the TCTS, under the spon- sorship of Mr. Cushman, Mrs, Dollahon, Mr. Rauch, and Mr. Tyner. This group was established to en- courage interested and talented students to enter the teaching profession. The many and varied aspects of this career were presented at the monthly meet- ings by guest speakers who are specialists in their fields.
