This year we had a larger nuxnber of stu- dents eligible for the C. S. F. than ever before. The lightweights, boosted by the able performances of Micky Nutcher, managed to win two of their three meets. Outstanding this year and much counted on for next year was Bud Tomlin. He not only took many firsts in our local meets, but took first place in the pole vault at the Hollister Invitational. Another honor he achieved this year was being invited to the N. C. S. -C. I.
