AC NUWLEDGBMBNTS . .. The value of this, the 1954 CONEEDERATE, as of any accomplishment, lies in the infinite care and patient gathering of details which required time and effort. This book is the result of the splendid cooperation of many people who offered and gave their assistance, in order to present a vivid, and, we hope, lasting picture of life at San Lorenzo High School. Among those whom we wish to thank are the students, the administration and the faculty for their willing cooperation, even though there sometimes were class disturbances and cancellations of plans. Fairchild Portrait Studios has earned the gratitude of the staff for their earnest help in giving us outstanding pictures. We especially thank Mr. Levy of Fairchild, for the unusual and attrac- tive aerial view of our school. Special thanks go to the Daily Review, the San Leandro Morning News and to Steve Rubiolo for their courtesy in supplying extra pictures. For their help in planning and printing the yearbook, we are grateful to Bob Ozias of Lederer, Street CS Zeus Co., lnc., and to Earl Evans of California Art 6. Engraving Company. Those who cannot do without our appreciation and thanks are the business- men, merchants and professional men of the community. We could not have published this book without their kind assistance and cooperation. To conclude, we wish to acknowledge our appreciation of a person who deserves a great deal of credit and thanks. She is our advisor, Mrs. Elizabeth Stack, without whose help and guidance the task of publishing the 1954 CON' PEDERATE would have been extremely difficult.
