mba Q Achievements Now that we are on the verge of becoming upper classmen we look back over our second year of high school with glad remembrance. Although we did not win the Freshman-Sophomore Scamper, We thor- oughly enjoyed the fun connected with it. The Sophomore Hop, at which the South American theme prevailed, was attended by a large number of the student body and alumni. The walls of the old gym were decorated with drawings of dancing senores and senoritas. Other Latin American features were used to add to the spirit of the dance. Without the careful guidance of our advisers and the cooperation of all the members of our class we feel that the success we achieved through this year could not have been therefore We extend our thanks and appreciation to these people and all others who helped 2 .3 f f B

Achievements On a Warm September morning in 1941, some eager but meek little persons Were seen entering the doors of San Juan. Qur initiation was handed out to us by those ever-obliging Seniors. Some funny and even weird-looking faces were seen on that day. The Freshman-Sophomore Scamper, which was won by us Freshmen, was our next big event Our Hrst social gathering, the Freshman Reception, was our formal introduc tion to the students and faculty of San uan XVe were rightfulls proud of ourselx es when we won the student body card salt contest and got to initiate the Sophomorcs All in all, we Freshmen think high school life is grand and arc looking forward to next September when most of us will walk through the doors of San Juan again, this time as Sophomores Za I l' 6 R in i VIN.. .O mfr-R .
