Vocational preparation should include a broad background in general education to provide a foundation for the specific training for a particular job and also to provide fundamental preparation for future jobs which may not even exist at this time. Also, with the continued acceleration of our technological develop- ments, it will require less man hours of Work to produce the necessities of life and all of us will be able to look forward to more time for leisure and cultural activities. Your four years of high school have given you the fundamental preparation for a successful life. But to insure this success you should take advantage of every oppor- tunity to continue your education so that you will be better prepared to adjust to the changes and pressures of modern society. Good luck in your endeavors. 11 MR. WHITE
