Getting off to a fine start by staging the first dance of the year, the class of '53 has rapidly become a full-fledged part of San juan. CLASS OFFICER H Q ' 'Sis ,rf s Qi 5 Despite rumors to the effect that seniors spend all their spare time pcrsecuting freshmen, they can be justly proud of their accomplishments in other fields during this past year. Heading such activities as the senior ball and play were Mac Call, prcsidentg Bob Correa, vice president, joan Evans, secretaryg and Becky Mooney, treasurer. Such events as an excellent junior play and junior prom rank high on the list of projects undertaken by the hustling juniors. Walter and Wayne Estelle took over the president and vice president offices respectively, while Bever- ly Hillyard and Margie Wood assumed the duties of secretary and treasurer. 5 3 3 The never-to-be-forgotten Winter Mardi-Grasl' was proof positive that the sophs are going to be hard to beat in anything they tackle.
