CDESLIMEN Lois Fulkerson , Secretary vs . .qs f Shirley Neuman Vice-President Bill Quackenbos president This business of high school was pretty bafflinq to us Freshmen at first. After all, grammar school never included this running from room to room for each subject, or these crazy locker combinations we have' to remember. And all those bells that seemed to mean so much to everybody else were only an- other source of confusion for us. But, of necessity, we got used to all that and pretty soon we found out we liked it! Even that rugged initiation the Seniors gave us was fun, and after our Reception, we knew we were just as much Spartans as the rest of the fellers. Now, we have finished our first year at San juan, and we have accomplished lots of things. We have gone to plays, games, and dances, joined clubs and made lots of new friends. So you see, 1947 has been a wonderful year . . . especially for us Freshmen! H - ll , T. oh n, F. Meyerdick, D. Newt ' P dll L Wilkerson l Baker B. Crowley.
