He came fo San Jose as a faculfy member in I937. Dr. Rhodes served fhe college as a class adviser for eighf years, as chairman of fhe freshman camp commiffee, as chairman of fhe campus visifafion program for high school sfudenfs, as a member of 'ihe Sparfan Shop board, and as direcfor of summer school recreafion acfivifies.
