INDUSTRIAL ARTS DEPARTMENT The Industrial Arts Department is organized to train shop teachers for the field of general education on 'the elementary and secondary school levels. HEALTH AND HYGIEN E The Health Department is proud of its X-ray machine which enables them to detect active tuberculosis cases before symptoms develop. Thus the paticntls recovery is shorter. The department is staffed with three physicians, four nurses, one physiotherapist, one laboratory technician, 'three teaching faculty, and four secre- taries. Jack Chaplin is using a lathe in Machine Shop Prac- tice. Mr. Stevenson teaches 'fool use and care. Salaries for shop teachers are the highest in the history of the profession. The demand is great.
