HEALTH AND HYGIEN E The Health Department is proud of its X-ray machine which enables them to detect active tuberculosis cases before symptoms develop. Thus the paticntls recovery is shorter. The department is staffed with three physicians, four nurses, one physiotherapist, one laboratory technician, 'three teaching faculty, and four secre- taries. The aims are similar although specific services are different. The purposes of both are: to educate the s'tudent in principles of healthful livingg to assist in maintaining his highest level of a professional objective within his ability. Both divisions of the Health Department aim to prevent time lost through illness and ensuing handicaps so that the student's time may he de- voted to educational opportunities.
