Coach Clarence Sloetzer stated that the team showed great championship promise with XVashington as its main rival. Netmen and Wrestlers show potential Crapplers at San jose included two league champions, senior jerry Herrera, 191 lbs., and VValt Aunijo, 98 lb. class. Medal winners were jim Oliver, 191 lbs., Vaughn lmada, 103 lbs., and Adrian Rodriguez, 138 lbs. San lose hosted the SCVAL tournament.
