A CAPELLA CHOIR Highans were entertained many times this year by the singing ot the sixty-tive member A Cappella choir. Directed by Miss Diana Gard, the choristers played an important part in many school programs and outside activities. Included in the singers' activities were such events as the annual Choir Festival in the San Jose Civic Auditorium, the Spring Festival, the Valentine Variety Show, the February and June graduations, and several ot the school assemblies. They also furnished entertainment at programs given by several local clubs. Vocalists during the past two semesters included Dorothy Ceccarelli, outstanding soprano soloist, and the members ot the boys' quartet andt girls' trio, whose singing contributed to the success ot the Variety Show, as well as several other interesting programs. We all owe a debt ot gratitude to the choir members and Miss Gard, who worked hard this year to bring us so many interesting programs. 'Na+ GARD 64 H. Mgr- -1- j y - if fl - -- 'QA E a - wr ru' . 1.
