LAST YEAR The Senior Class was very enthusi- astic the first weeks of school prepar- ing for the Freshmen Initiation anc Reception. Later in the year efforts were directed toward the Senior Play Too Many Relatives which was 2 huge sucess. In order to confuse the juniors, the Seniors had a breakfast in February The Seniors finally sneaked to Balboa Beach March 6, where they enjoyec swimming, boating, and bowling. Among their outstanding events were a tour to Patton State Hospital and a trip to Riverside College. The Seniors were guided by their friendly advisors, Miss Patricia Shan- non and Mr. Howard Beaty. The junior class started early in the year to strengthen their class assets. Good salesmanship and hard work quickly increased their funds two hundred dollars. The hilarious play His Name Was Aunt Nellie was presented to an appreciative audience by junior class members. The class also won activity points by winning tag day the second semester. The officers for the first semester were: Oren Speir, president, Don HedIund,vice-president, Doreen Irving, secretary, joanne Cremer, treasurer, and Gloria Hawes, council representative.
