P T L TL MC. el SP SG, al? gs 8 By noting the students who are interested in their yearbook and those who are not, we may divide the student body into two groups-the group who contributes to San Jac and the group who is here physically, not mentally. If ten or fifteen years from now a poll could be taken of the present student body, what would it reveal? It would reveal, no doubt, that those students that fall within the first group would have continued to assume civic and moral responsibilities in the adult world. They would be voted the outstanding citizens of the year by some civic organization. And those students who fall into the second group would still be more of a liability or non- entity than an active asset to their community or the business world. Students, my greatest and most sincere wish is that those of you who are contributing in a positive manner to make San Jac the fine school that it is, will do even more when you enter adulthood so you may live a full and abundant life. And you students who are not contributing to your school but are merely receiving and taking all its benefits, my ardent hope and wish is that you may awaken. In the final judgement you will be judged by the faithfulness in which you have used the talents with which your Divine Creator endowed you. MR. W. S. BRANDENBERGER
