Gates, miss Johnson, miss Rothe, and the rest of the faculty, has been a very progressive and active graduat- ing group, a fact easily seen in the numerous activities in which they participated with marlzed success. Hmong their most outstanding activities were the obtaining of a new and more beautiful school ring, the planning and staging of the senior dance and the senior picnic, and leading in most school clubs, organizations, and sports. The officers of the class were: Jim lllhitworth, Prhpsi nt, Rex Balzer, Vice-President, H. C. SoRelle, Vice-President, Joe Vanzant, Treasurer, atherine Rountree, Secretary. with these officers at the head, and the zeal and enthusiasmg: the senl s baclzing them, it is small wonder that this 1938 class is one that gets things e. 5 XX X ft s .
