EXECUTIVES Throughout the extent of our school lite, there has been a guiding hand, unseen and unappre- ciated, yet always there to lend valuable aid in time of need. That hand is the kindly assistance of our executives, Mr. Rogers, Mr. Gates, and Miss lohnson. Many times during our years spent at San lacinto, we have come in contact with these guardians of power. Sometimes, the contacts have not been as pleasant as they could be, but, in all fairness, no person could deny that he has received justice tempered with kindness at their hands. Those students who know our executives more intimately can easily appreciate their wis- dom and can recognize that their tireless energy is used primarily for our welfare. These men and women are devoting their lives to the betterment of San Jacinto, and, although many ot us have not realized it, they form the bridge which closes the gap between education of the mind and build- ing of the character. Hs a fitting tribute to our respected and loved superiors and as partial payment on the eternal debt of gratitude we owe them, we can only vow to conduct ourselves in the world which we are entering in a manner suitable to the instruction they have given us.
