'CENTENNIAL EDITIGIN EXECUTIVES As the time arrives when we must leave the , scene of our labors for the past three years, lf it is only naturalfor us to become somewhat M, T, H. Roger, reflective. For some of us, high school has Q .,Q-J been a glorious educational adventure, for others, a period of carefree pleasure. Some of us have been happy, some sad, some con- tented, and others dissatisfied, but despite the Mr. E. C. Gates I 1 variations and the conflicts which have pre- J vailed, we feel that there has been at least one stabilizing factor in our school life, that is friendship with our teachers. They have ' , , Miss Genevieve been our companions who not only instructed Johnson us but shared with us our joys and sorrows. These experiences have been many and va- ried, and without the experienced guidance and gentle modulating influence of our teachers, we would have fared badly in our undertakings. Instead, sustained by their invaluable advice, and encouraged by their friendship and sympathetic understanding, we have been able to overcome seemingly insurmountable barriers. lt is with sincere regret that we leave our friends, the faculty, who have enriched our knowledge of human nature as well as our material knowledge, and it is sincerely that we express our gratitude to them for their invaluable assistance. s 1i - 1
