Alumni attend assembly. wmm Asia, ahimni band performs New and old cheerleaders cheer at assembly. FOOTBALL HOMECOMING 79 Homecoming week was October eighth through October twelfth. This week was celebrated by the student body participat- ing in dress-up days: Kiddie Day, Twins Day, Punk Rock Day, Hat Day, and School Colors Day. Friday a Homecoming assembly was held in honor of all returning alumni. The 1979 homecoming queen, Avis Stuart was crowned during the half-time of the game between the Spartans and the Redlands ' Terriers. After each homecoming queen candidate had been escorted down the field with their fathers and introduced, the winner was announced by having her name lit up in fireworks: afterwards, the crowd was entertained by a fireworks display.
