BOB BETTY — SUPER SPARTAN I Mr. Bob Betty is the Athletic Director for San Gorgonio High School; he is the man who is responsible for scheduling all the games or meets for boys and girls sports, arranging for transportation to and from all away games, making the athletic budget, ordering sports equipment and uniforms, getting officials for the games, recommending new coaches for available openings, being a supervisor at games, and representing the school in athletic meetings. Sports has always been a part of Mr. Betty ' s life. In high school and college he participated in sports. He attended Alma College in Michigan and the University of Redlands, where he played football and baseball. He went to Michigan State University to complete his masters degree. He coached football, basketball, and baseball in Michigan for nine years. Bob Betty has been at San G for 13 years. The Summit staff commends Mr. Bob Betty for all his behind-the-scenes effort organizing the athletic program at San Gorgonio; too often the pople who work diligently in the background are ignored. i !■■ ■■I IBP mn
