4 How has being a principal at S.G.H.S. affected my life? It has truly made me a very proud person, glad that I had a small part in estab- lishing this fine institution. I am very happy the students of this generation are as proud of their school as were those who charted the course twenty-five years ago. I am truly glad that the Matadors are a proud group of stu- dents. - Mr. Kruger. I was received at San Gabriel with the utmost warmth and cooperation by both students and faculty. This fine spirit was responsible for whatever contribution l was able to make as principal and made for a richly satisfying - and unforgettable - professional exper- ience. I salute SGHS on its birthday and am proud to have been a part of its growth. - Mrs. Latrell llflll 'Fill' ilulli These are my fond memories of 19 years at SGHS: Professional challenges, pleasant rela- tionships with staff and student body, and invaluable community contacts. My year as acting principal offered special opportunities for professional growth and leadership. Today I would challenge you to continue your quest for exellence and to keep alive the true Matador spirit. - Miss Lievsfield Dr. Channel was our principal at SGHS for four years. He is currently a dean at Weber College. Unfortunately because of the dis- tance between San Gabriel, Ca. and Ogden, Utah we were unable to get a quotation from him. If you're as excited as I am it can't help but be a good year says Mount in Sept. '77, I still feel that way but now from a broader perspective. Being principal at SGHS has proved to me that the circumstances arising from any of the school programs can be effectively and successfully dealt with only if 8. when there is a strong commitment - one to another. - Mr. Mount
