Some of The seniors have been forfunafe enough fo finish in four consecufive years, while ofhers have had fo malce if over a longer period of fime. Bill I-Iuffmasfer presided over fhe seniors, who were acclaimed as fhe mosf acfive class on campus. The elaborafe Golden Ball was held May 2I af fhe Claremonf I-lofel. Music for fhe promenade was supplied by Ray I-Iacl4eff's band, popular Bay Area arfisfs. Chairman of fhe affair was Elinor Shaughnessy. Dean Dambacher worlced wifh fhe alumni in organizing fhe annual Senior-Alumni Picnic, which was held April 3 af fhe new campus. Evenfs in a more serious vein, including fhe Senior Pilgrimage and commencemenf exercises, will be held June I8 af fhe Civic Audiforium. Assisfing I-luffmasfer during fhe year were Dean Dambacher, vice-presidenf: AI Fish, secrefaryg and Mill Reiferman, sergeanf-af-arms.

Friday preceding The dance an elimi- na+ion elecrion was held, and rhe lop four girls were selecfed as finalisfs. Finalisls included, Barbara Tehaney, Phi Era Chi: Gloria Kugler, Bib 'n' Tucker: June Niclcolson, Kappa Thelag and Ann Linderman, Alpha Omega. The final elecfion was held ai lhe Prom. As a resull of 'rhe eleclion, Barbara Tehaney was elecied +o reign supreme ar ihe dance and was allended by lhe lhree remaining lovelies. Miss Tehaney and her allend- anls led The coronaiion waliz +0 'rhe music of Bob Wallace and his orcheslra.
